In about 1996 whilst working in London, I was called across the office by my boss and he showed me a German news website that had a window perhaps two inches square which housed a grainy video of a talking-head speaking German. 

I had a deadline that day and slightly shrugged and moved-on until later when we discussed the implications of video over the internet and what that would mean for businesses world-wide. Then I just stopped and stared for what felt like hours. 

This video is a little like that moment. It's a pretty rudimentary robot but for a the first time it feels like this is going to be a big thing... And that it's going to be a really big thing really soon.
